Dimmu Borgir es una banda noruega de black metal sinfónico con reminiscencias de black metal melódico. Fue fundada en 1993 por Ian Kenneth Åkesson (Tjodalv), Stian Thoresen (Shagrath)y Sven Atle Kopperud (Silenoz) en Oslo. Éstos dos últimos han sido los únicos miembros estables desde entonces...En agosto de 2009 la formación más exitosa de la banda sufrió serios cambios: el bajista y vocalista ICS Vortex y el teclista Mustis fueron expulsados debido a que éste último reclamó la autoría de gran parte de la música escrita desde 1999.En la actualidad la banda está formada por Shagrath (vocalista), Silenoz y Galder (guitarristas) y Daray (batería).

Líam es una banda de Post Rock / Shoegaze Black Metal procedente de Alemania y fundada originariamente como un One-Man-Project (banda de un solo miembro) a comienzos de 2007 por M. Bochnig. Así grabo los dos primeros EPs “My journey to the sky” y “Two years and a fragment” en menos de un año. Tras ello, y con la voluntad de poder presentar el material disponible en directo buscó apoyo en otros músicos de estudio, a saber J. Wulfheide, L. Jahns and C. Holler; pero en vez de anquilosarse en el antiguo material, el grupo decidió aumentar el repertorio, grabando en 2008, Los primeros ep's estan muy recomndables....

Es una banda Sueca de death/doom metal  formado en 1991 por Jonas Renkse y Anders Nystrom Los primeros álbumes de Katatonia se caracterizan por la melancolía de su sonido, catalogados a menudo como  doom metal y una notable influencia a estilos como black metal y death metal. Sin embargo, después de lanzar dos albumes, el grupo cambia la direccion de su música a un sonido más moderno y melodico, gracias al uso de sonidos alternativos y riffs más pesados.
